Margaret,
What a truly terrific job you did! Your introduction got me so excited, that I just had to hear why I should visit Indiania.
Your transitions between paragraphs flowed so nicely and your ending was wonderful! I loved all the descriptive words you used. They helped me to visualize what this state is really like.
You also spoke so clearly and at just the right pace. I really want to go there now to hike and see the Indianapolis 500 race. This would be a nice way to spend a Memorial Day weekend.
Margaret, you should be very proud of all the hard work you did. You chose just the right music and sound effects. Your podcast was terrific!!

Margaret,
Well done. I enjoyed listening to your podcast. The detail that you provided your listeners tells me that you conducted lots of research. I'm going to wait before I answer your essential question of would I move to your state UNTIL I hear from others in your class. There are a few more states, I have to learn more about before deciding to relocate my family.

Margaret,
You were great! I'm writing again because I didn't write what I really thought about your podcast. Just like Mrs.Cook, Mrs.Dlott took my words right out of my mouth. I'm agreeing with Mrs.Cook a lot today, I loved reading Emilee's comment. And just like Emilee, I hope your parents loved it. Your voice was great! I can't wait to do mine!

Great job Margaret! You made me feel like I was back in my home state! Indiana is a great state. When I was in 4th grade we got to take a field trip to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The drivers were doing practice laps. I liked how you explained the weather and the four seasons. I often get asked what the weather is like in Indiana. Nice job on your podcast!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Porter

Margaret,
I read about your podcast in the April 2007 issue of Educational Leadership, and I had to check it out. Currently, I am a technology coordinator for a school district in Ohio, and I was a middle school language arts teacher before taking this position. I just wanted to let you know that I am so impressed with the way that you "sold" me on Indiana. Having been there many times, I feel that you very accurately captured what it is like there in your podcast. Your teachers (and you, yourself) should be very proud!
Thanks for sharing,
Ms. K

Interesting podcast. As someone who lives in Indiana, I was surprised to hear that we had snow-covered mountains???? We have sand dunes along Lake Michigan though so maybe you were thinking of those.
Glad you like Indiana!
